Biography

In 2006, Yoon Jin Ma began teaching at ISU as an assistant professor of Fashion Design and Merchandising Program within the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences. Currently, she is a Full Professor and also a Coleman Faculty Fellow.

Dr. Ma has been teaching undergraduate and graduate courses: Economics of fashion, Merchandising planning and control, Fashion promotion, Entrepreneurship in fashion, Advanced textiles, and Problem-solving and research methods in FCS.

Research Interests & Areas

Social responsibility in the apparel industry including consumption, manufacturing, and retailing; the fourth/fifth industrial revolution in fashion; collaborative robots and automation system; and consumer behavior.
