Decisions made with regards to the College of Applied Science and Technology are headed by committees staffed by faculty and student representatives from the different departments within the college.
The College Faculty Status Committee adopts, revises, and interprets ASPT standards for CAST.
Members serve two year terms and are elected by College faculty. No more than one member from each Department/School may serve at any one time.
The CRC is an appointed group of CAST faculty who work with the Associate Dean for Research to stimulate, coordinate and execute research activities in CAST. Investigators in the College are encouraged to utilize this team as they identify research topics and funding sources. The CRC also stands ready to review proposals and make recommendations for improvement prior to submission to an external agency.

Members of the College Curriculum Committee serve three years terms and are elected by Departments/Schools.
The College Technology Council serves as the primary conduit for advising the Dean on appropriate college-wide IT policy and procedures, and reviewing and authoring major IT initiatives.
